What is TeamTraders.com?

TeamTraders.com is a 100% Free No Risk Online Fantasy Stock Trading Game. You manage a virtual stock trading account through our platform and gain practical educational investment experience while competing against other users, friends and family.

What markets can I trade on TeamTraders.com?

At present you can trade shares for free on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and NASDAQ.

Real-time Nasdaq Last Sale data is available on our trading platform. This provides real-time, intraday trade data from the NASDAQ platform, which trades the largest volume of U.S. exchange-listed equities.

How much virtual money will I start out with?

Once a user is registered their portfolio balance will be $100,000. This money can be used to purchase shares in any of the available companies.

Are there any rules governing how I spend my virtual cash?

Yes we have a few simple rules.

• You can only invest a maximum of twenty percent of your portfolio balance in an individual share.
• You must invest a minimum of five percent of your portfolio balance every time you purchase a share.

TeamTraders.com is an educational game and its fun! The above rules prevent someone from running away with a competition just because they got lucky on one trade! To be the best on TeamTraders.com you have to prove yourself as the best!

Do I have to pay to use TeamTraders.com?

NO! TeamTraders.com is 100% free. There is no risk, shares are bought and sold using virtual money. You never have to worry about losing any real money! You may however win some of the great prizes on offer!

I'm a lecturer/teacher, I would love for my class to use your platform is this possible? Is this free?

Yes it is, we provide a great free platform for students to learn on. We would setup a private team for your class. If you are interesting in using TeamTraders.com please contact us through our contact page.  Team Traders provides the perfect platform for college students to gain some trading experience.

Can I setup a private team for my friends? Is this free?

Yes it is. We would setup a private team for you and your friends and allow you to compete against each other in our stock trading game. If you are interesting in using TeamTraders.com please contact us through our contact page.

What are free trades?

Every time a user buys or sells a share they have to a pay a virtual commission fee of $50. You can avoid this fee by using your free trades. Free trades can be earned by participating in competitions, inviting your friends, and beating the markets!

Can I stop or short sale shares?

You can’t currently stop or short sale shares. This is one of the features we hope to add in the future.

What about metals and commodities, can I trade these?

We are considering including metals and commodities.

Do you plan to add any markets besides the NYSE and NASDAQ?

Yes we do. We hope to add some additional markets, possibly one in Europe, and one from Asia.

I’ve forgotten my password and haven’t received any email with instructions, what can I do now?

Please check your spam or junk folder to ensure that the instructions have not been moved there.
